Product Area Manager (junior)

About

An european company specialized in woodworking segment is looking for a Product Area Manager (junior) in Moscow.

Position is responsible for sales activities of company’s industrial machinery for solid wood (for production of houses, windows, doors stairways, etc.) Such responsibilities include but are not limited to, cold calling, prospecting, qualifying, closing, and maintaining post sale relationships. Further responsible for maintaining all administrative requirements such as call reports and CRM updates.

Requirements

  • Higher technical education
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales of industrial machines
  • We prefer someone coming from this industry but would consider candidates with a parallel path of experience like hardware, material supplier, tooling, software etc  as long as they are related to this industry
  • Young graduates from Universities with good technical education also can be considered even without experience in Sales
  • English language (intermediate)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Good abilities in Sales
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point required
  • Ability to uncover prospects needs and pains and offer solutions by way of consultative sales techniques
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Ability to create, composes, and edits written materials
  • Professional sales training a plus

Responsibilities

  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1) Visit clients and promote Biesse products
  • 2) Identify clients sales needs
  • 3) Identify and resolve customer concerns
  • 4) Create sales opportunities
  • 5) Prepare and present an offer
  • 6) Manage the offer negotiation
  • 7) Maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • 8) Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationship
  • 9) Complete the company CRM on a daily basis
  • 10) Other duties as assigned
  • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1) Participate in marketing events such as trade shows and seminars
  • 2) Follow-up for collection of payment
  • 3) Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services
